Sophie in Providence
Traveling & Surgery Prep: Smooth-Sailing!
Hi Everyone,
Sophie and Lynnae have been in Providence for a couple days, which has been great since Sophie has had time to recuperate from the trip, hang out, and get prepped for surgery. She is looking strong, and is resilient as usual. Today we met her amazing home care nurse, Beth, who we all immediately fell in love with. She is extremely experienced, caring, and warm, and she gave us the name of an excellent nurse to talk to in Sophie’s surgery wing at the hospital who will look out for her.
Sophie will check in to surgery midday tomorrow and is likely to stay in the hospital for 2-4 days. Sophie’s asked that friends and family light a candle for her at 2pm ET (11am PT), which is when her surgery will begin. ( thank you!! ♡ )
